The X-Series is the AVUTEC product line of embedded smart camera systems, that capture license plates and/or perform recognition tasks.

The X-Series feature 3 models: Gatekeeper 410X, Gatekeeper 1250X and the  Module-X.

Each model is equal in the amount of processing power, but has a set of distinctive features, that qualify a model for a specific project.

 

 

The Module-X

 

The Module-X is the model, that is dedicated to nearby automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and complementary extra recognition tasks

This model contains both an IR sensitive monochrome camera and a light sensitive color camera for recognition in all lighting circumstances.

It is equipped with on board LED illumination combined with a day light filter and white LEDS.

With its 2 to 5 meter viewing range and wide recognition angle, the Module-X is mostly used in access control and parking solutions.

 

PoE+ IEEE 802.3at  and DSUB 15HD I/O cable
The pig tail consists of a network cable for both power and network connection through PoE+ and a (DSUB 15HD) I/O cable to operate IO pins and facilitate OSDP and RS-485.

 

Mounting options

Due to its many mounting options, the Module-X can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or pole.

It's compact size and rectangular shape make. that the Module-X can be built into a terminal or access control peripheral by any party (see technical drawing).
