The Module-X5 comes with a pigtail consisting of a network and an I/O cable.
The Module-X can be powered via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) using the network cable or by providing 24 - 48 Volt DC on the I/O cable.
Both cables have a length of 2 meters.
The I/O cable breaks out in 14 pins.
The wiring diagram can be found below and in the Quick start guide, that is enclosed in the box of the Module-X.
When using the relay functionality of the I/O cable, a Metal Oxide Varistaror (MOV) over the contacts of the screw terminals or connector where the I/O cable of the Module-X is connected, is required.
This will protect the camera from switching / induced surges and serves for noise suppression.
