AVUTEC's Drive off Prevention System, DPSsee DPSAxon |
How does it work |
|
A car drives up to a pump. The license plate is recognized and compared with a national list of drive offs. When a match is found the cashier gets an audio visual alarm at the DPS tablet at the checkout.

FramegrabberAxon |
The FrameGrabberAxon in the cortex shows in this solution a CortexServer with a AVUTEC PCI express FrameGrabberCard is used. The FrameGrabberCard captures images of analogue camera's and converts them to digital frames. |

Layer of crop axons |
From each incoming stream the regions of interest are cropped. In this example two crops per image were made. Each CropAxon produces a stream for the ANPRAxons. |
|
LoadBalanceGroup |
Evenly spreading images over the ANPRAxons for fast recognition.

Threshold |
ThresholdAxon defines the conditions to be met before passing a recognized license plate to the next axon.
|
|
DPSAxon |
The main function of the DPSAxon is communicating with AVUTEC's central server at the data center. The central server keeps a national list of drive offs and adds car data like color, brand and make.

All eight pumps of this gas station are seen in the same time. Giving a full overview of the station. In this example 4 camera's are connected to 1 CortexServer. The 4 streams are cropped in a way the Regions of Interest are optimal for recognition.
